This weeks Words from the Heart comes from Penelope – her son Reuben started Kicks Pre School this year when Kicks Dance Reigate & Redhill started classes in Horley.
I first met Rianna of Kicks Dance last year during a taster session at a parent/child event in Redhill. My son thoroughly enjoyed himself and it was a pleasure to see the other children joining in too. Rianna is very engaging with the children from the word go!
As I live in Horley, I asked if Rianna would consider opening classes in there as Kicks is just what we needed! My son went along to the new class taster session in February and he couldn’t wait to start that term.
The children love the mixture of music and movement and I love that my son is able to express different emotions through dance, fun and story telling. In just one term my son loves dramatic play with a bit of dance at home and makes it all up by himself.
There are no parents or carers permitted into the class, which allows for good concentration on the session and has really helped my son’s confidence and independence. The music played at the sessions is fantastic, fun and my son springs into action when he hears a ‘Kicks’ song at home!
I have also recommended Kicks to lots of parents and their children have all loved it!
